Big Blue Bubble CEO Damir Slogar recently spoke with Pocket Gamer on innovating monetization in traditional arcade-style mobile games such as the company’s newest title, Home Arcade. Damir emphasized that it is important to “Respect the present; remember the past” when it comes to innovating in this genre, and to pay close attention to public perception. “Perception is slowly moving in a positive direction,” he added. “I emphasize slowly, though. There is nothing significantly different that consumers didn’t already experience in the arcades or with retail games.”
